And we can’t know the answer. Maybe she’s dead (some other way). Maybe she hates him and doesn’t want to wake him up (or is keeping him asleep!) Maybe he’s on some big sedative and she can’t wake him. Who knows?

I’ll admit, this is a bit of a weakness in my theory. I won’t say hole, because there are many plausible answers for it and the rest still works. But it makes the theory a little less neat.
