That’s a good question. I don’t think they distinguished, mostly because I don’t think it’s possible to get an accurate number.
It’s safe to assume some traffic on Twitter is driven by bots. And people like Mitchell and Cernovich probably have more bot followers than Cooke or French. But how much? If you know a source with a good measure, let me know.
Facebook doesn’t have the same bot problem, but, as the graphs show, had more shares from the farthest right column than Twitter. That’s evidence supporting my claim about energy on the far right.
But it would be interesting to know what percentage of the sharing comes from bots.
