There are numerous similarities between Trump’s rhetoric and fascist leaders’. Words matter. But actions matter more.

We know the 20th century fascist governments primarily by their actions.

That’s why I highlighted family separation and the travel ban. Both are concrete policies that had an immediate impact on people’s lives. And both bear greater resemblance to fascist governments’ actions than Americans are used to.
