Security clearances was one of the things I had in mind when talking about the national security standard. If they suspect you might be lying, or that there’s a possibility you could be subject to bribery or blackmail, they don’t hire you.

No one is entitled to a national security or intelligence position — It’s about what’s best for the country. I’m surprised to see so many Americans hold potential Supreme Court Justices to a lower standard.
