I think the chance Senate Republicans vote to remove Trump are very low as well. But his actions in office are blatantly unconstitutional, and impeachment is what the Constitution calls for in response.
If Republicans wish to defend constitutional violations, that’s up to them. And if 2020 voters want to reward or punish those politicians for it, that’s their choice. But I still think we should follow the Constitution, even if some politicians and voters would prefer we didn’t.
